Washington, DC—Carnegie Science is proud to introduce today a new visual identity that was designed to celebrate the bold, trailblazing work that our scientists are undertaking across our three research divisions.

“This iconic new look and feel was created to reflect the hallmark freedom and flexibility that empowers the world’s leading researchers to forge new frontiers of knowledge about life, our planet, and the universe around us,” said President Eric D. Isaacs. “This classic design also honors our incredible legacy of more than 120 years of breakthrough research.”

Our pioneering investigators study the natural world at scales ranging from genomes to ecosystems and from planets to the cosmos. They are pushing the boundaries of discovery beyond traditional disciplinary silos and advancing a new understanding of connections between fields.

As we begin this exciting new chapter for Carnegie Science, we remain dedicated to our core mission of pursuing deeper understanding, exploring big questions, and addressing global challenges.

“Our refreshed brand captures the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and progress that are emblematic of Carnegie Science,” said Chief Communications Officer Karen Sodomick. “With its sleek, modern design and sophisticated color palette, it symbolizes our commitment to both honoring our scientific legacy and pursuing the world-changing discoveries of tomorrow.”

Friends and followers will see the refreshed brand identity rolled out at public events, on our campuses, and on our social media channels. And they can look out for an exciting new presentation of our branding on our website in the coming weeks.

Anyone who wants to share in the excitement can download one of our new digital wallpapers to invigorate their digital spaces with stunning Carnegie Science imagery. We welcome our community to use our social media toolkit to help spread the word to friends and family.
