Discussion of Ethics in Scientific Authorship
Join Alycia Weinberger for a discussion on scientific authorship. This is not a lecture; participants will engage in small and larger group discussion and draw on the experiences of our colleagues. This event is close to the public.
This is not a lecture; we will engage in small and larger group discussion and draw on the experiences of our colleagues. It will only be in-person, and it will not be recorded. We will talk about multiple facets of authorship including:
- transparency in author contributions
- contributions that merit authorship versus ghost authorship and honorary authorship
- hyperauthorship
- and authorship after misconduct.
